DESCRIPTION:Utah TIM Coalition Meeting – Thursday\, June 26\, 2025 – 11 AM-2 PM\nCarbon County Ambulance Garage – 1550 Airport Rd.\, Price\, Utah \nPlease click here to RSVP for this Utah Traffic Incident Management (TIM) Coalition meeting by end of the day Monday\, June 23\, 2025. \nThis is a first-of-its-kind gathering of first responders in this area of Utah. The meeting will take place Thursday\, June 26\, 2025\, from 11:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Carbon County Ambulance Garage\, 1550 Airport Rd.\, Price\, Utah. This meeting will provide valuable information on how Traffic Incident Management can make us better responders and make our community safer while keeping us safe in the process. \nTIM Coalition Presentations\n• Representatives from the Utah Labor Commission will discuss liabilities and obligations of departments and employees for staying safe while addressing traffic Incidents. We will focus on wearing high visibility or PPE and using proper training and policies to keep employees and the public safe.\n• We will conduct an after-action review of an incident on a local roadway and how we think of safe quick clearance during these incidents.\n• We will also feature a discussion of how the Utah Traffic Operation Center can benefit you anywhere in Utah. \nLunch will be provided – please RSVP by June 23\, 2025 to ensure we have enough food for everyone. \nOur Purpose\nThe Utah TIM Coalition is a cooperative effort of the Utah DOT and first responders\, supporting a vision of working together to “Promote\, develop and sustain a multi-disciplinary TIM program that has a multi-jurisdictional focus to achieve enhanced responder safety\, quick clearance and reliable interagency communications.” Safe\, quick clearance of crashes reduces the time and possibility of secondary crashes and\, it also reduces the time that emergency responders are “at risk” while performing duties to clear the roadways. \nWe encourage agencies to bring ideas or incidents to debrief at future TIM Coalition meetings.
